Los Angeles African Professionals organizes and hosts cultural events that celebrate and promote African and overall, Black heritage, traditions, and unity among the African diaspora in Los Angeles and surrounding regions. These events provide a space for members to connect with their roots, share their traditions, and foster a sense of community.
These activities include community celebrations, cultural festivals, heritage speaker series, professional networking mixers with cultural themes, and live performances showcasing African music, dance, fashion, and cuisine. Through these events, LAAP creates inclusive opportunities for African professionals and the broader public to connect, share stories, and build a sense of identity and belonging rooted in culture.

Our activities are primarily funded through public support, including individual donations, grants, sponsorships, and general fundraising efforts. While we do offer optional membership to help sustain operations, no services are limited to members only.
